- A date will be held for you on receipt of 50% of the total payment of the cake.
Payment:
-The date of the event is considered "booked" upon receipt of a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total value of the cake and delivery charges
-The final payment is due 1 month prior to the event.
-If the booking is made less than 1 month before the event date, the deposit will equal 100% of the total cost.
-If the customer fails to make payments of the balance/full cost (whichever is applicable) then work will not commence on the order and it will be cancelled. No refund will be given.
-Payment should be made by bank transfer. Details will be provided by Copper Rose.
- The quote you receiver from us is valid for 30 days. This may be re-calculated after this time.
Equipment Hire:
-If you wish to hire a cake stand from me then a hire charge of £25 is required as well as a security deposit of £100 which must be made at the time of final payment. The deposit will be refunded when the stand is returned to the premises of Copper Rose in the 3 days following your event (or an agreed date). The deposit will be retained in the event of damage, late return or not returned at all.

- If an agreed postponement takes place after 30 days before the event, 25% of the final balance will be payable.
Cancellation or a postponement enquiry must be made by email to info@copperrose.net. We will endeavour to transfer your order to a postponed date providing it is suitable for Copper Rose otherwise it will be treated as a cancellation.

Delivery/ Set up:
- A set up fee of £50 is charged to assemble your cake at your chosen venue and leave it presented beautifully. A member of staff at the venue will be asked to sign a waiver confirming the cake arrived in good condition.
- A mileage fee of 45p/mile is charged for delivery to and from the venue from the premises of Copper Rose.
- Cakes may be collected from Copper Rose by the customer and transported to the venue. Please note, we will not be liable for damage to the cake once it has left the premises. We advise you check your wedding insurance covers cake damage. The customer must sign a waiver to ensure the condition of the cake is satisfactory.
- If you choose our delivery/set up option, it is our intention your cake will arrive in prefect condition however we ask for patience regarding factors outside of our control (extreme traffic conditions, inclement weather, public unrest, epidemic/pandemic) as we cannot be liable for such delays. Please ensure you have adequate wedding insurance.
- It is the customers' responsibility to ensure arrangements are made for the cake table, linen, cake stand (if the venue is providing it) and knife being set up prior to our arrival.
- Full contact details for the venue and a member of staff assigned to the event must be provided by the customer so a suitable delivery time and location can be agreed ahead of the event date.
- As our cakes are covered in chocolate ganache and buttercream, we aim to set up the cake as late as possible - especially during warmer months. It is your responsibility to let the venue know it will be a buttercream cake to avoid it being sat in a heated room.
- If your ceremony and reception are to be in the same room, we suggest we set up in the room changeover period. This avoids the cake having to be moved by persons other than myself. If it needs to be moved and damage to the cake occurs, Copper Rose does not hold responsibility for this.
- A list of non-edible items ie wooden or plastic dowels, cake cards, toppers, fresh flowers etc will be provided to the venue staff to advise what needs removing prior to serving. It will be their responsibility to do so.

Allergies/ Special Dietary Requirements/ Ingredients:
- All our ingredients are of the highest quality. All sponge cakes are made to be eaten on the day of celebration as will be at their very best.
- Copper Rose can bake gluten free options and ensure nuts are omitted however all cakes are prepared in a kitchen where nuts and gluten are present so we cannot guarantee that our cakes are completely free of all traces for people who are highly sensitive.
-The customer is responsible for pointing out to guests potential allergy hazards.

Disputes:
- Where possible, errors should be highlighted upon delivery/ collection to allow the opportunity to correct them.
- Any refund given for disputes regarding a cake are completely at the discretion of Copper Rose and are not automatic.
- On delivery, a waiver is signed and cakes are photographed from multiple angles to show cake quality on delivery.
