Hi!

 

I'm Mel, a creator of floral cake art and the face behind Copper Rose. After moving on from a 20+ year career in healthcare I've been lucky to make a life long hobby of cake making.... My job! I'm a mum to 2 little people who also happen to be enthusiastic and discerning taste testers in the cake kitchen.

 

I've learnt cake has the power to bring a smile to pretty much anyone , and I LOVE that! My experience comprises tuition with high end cake designers, online classes and my own self learning.... with it all originally starting with me baking fairy cakes and Victoria sponge with my mum when I was young.......dreaming of creating multi-tiered highly decorated wedding cakes😊.Floral buttercream art has become a bit of an obsession and I want to share it.

 

I hold the appropriate hygiene level 2 and allergen certificates and Copper Rose is fully registered with Bromsgrove District Council.

 

Cakes are to be collected from Copper Rose at my address in Bromsgrove. Wedding cakes can be delivered to your chosen venue as per wedding t's & c's.
